I want free protection to my Sony Ericsson Live mobile phone - can I get this protection through my computer?

My friend thinks that she cannot have Avast free protection in her computer forever (which I say is not the fact)
She earlier did not know that she must have only one kind of protection, such as preferably Avast!
So she had another kind at the same time and that does not work (which she did not understand and a guy took the previous protection away and then she had the free protection for some year…)

Is it true that she cannot continue to have Avast for some reason??

No, she just has to renew her free license once a year.

I don’t know what you mean by can avast protect you through your computer.
e.g. what are you doing with it when you connect it to your computer ?
