Hi,
I’m using current version of avast on this computer, xp pro, and it started to block a particular web page.
When I try to go to that page, it gives the error: file not found. Using firefox 18.0.2
Has avast blocked the site? How would I adjust it to allow entrance?
The screen capture of the error is attached. I ran malware bytes this am, full scan, no issues or threats found.
This page comes up with any other computer in the room, or by others. Just on this computer.
Any ideas?

Why do you think it is blocked by avast ?
Avast scans and alerts to infection, it doesn’t block, it isn’t a firewall (only the avast! Internet Security suite has a firewall).
I can get to the home page http://docp.com/ and there are no links to get anywhere else, and the other link http://docp.com/!Docp/ is also 404 error which is not an avast related error. I find it strange that the ! exclamation mark is used in the URL.
Tried it without the ! and still got a 404 error, tried using the upper case D in /!Docp/ and that resulted in another error 401 Authorisation required and additionally a 404 error.
So it would appear that the site has a problem.
I was thinking it was an avast block since I switched from AVG to avast recently and never saw this back then.
It’s a weird error, since tech support from my up line host says they can access, and it works from other computers… just not this one.
After uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox, the issue is resolved.
Site is on a unix/apache system which is sensitive to both case and special characters. Have been using !Docp as a folder for six years, with no issues. As owner of a hosting company, it’s just easier to have portal pages to quickly navigate. Since this folder is both password protected and unlinked, I was thinking I had better protection. The host also black lists after so many errors when entering a password (24 hour block from that IP).

Speaking of firewalls, my buddy is telling me to use zone alarm. He uses the free version and says it blocks all sorts of outgoing calls by programs he, until then, was not aware of.
One the site coming up issue, clearing the cache seems to correct it.
