Should I be concerned that today June 22, 09…Avast reports hte latest vps update as 090621-0…also the web page reports the latest version as 090618 (June 18th, 09). I am guessing that my local Avast is still okay, but just want to check.

The web page is always the last thing to be updated. (090621-0 is the current version.)

I was pretty sure about that, I also have just been used to the update being the same date as today. But Avast is just getting that good, eh.
Anyone heard any news of the firewall…or just a myth I was led to believe?

It will be release as an avast suite (antivirus + firewall) by the end of this year (probably, October).
