Web pages on local devices

Has anyone had problems with Avast blocking webpages store on a local network device?

I have a webpage stored on a local device that is used as a firmware interface for setup, data access, and other utilities.

Is there a message from avast? … If so, what does it say

Do you have avast firewall?

No message, just page not available. If they disable Avast they can access the page. These are my tech support customers, not me personally.

What system are you using?
Do you have avast firewall installed?

Is this a private webpage? IOW, is this an “eyes only” webpage or can the public access it?
The reason I ask is if it’s public access you can post the link as “hxxp” or “htxp”. Just make it a dead link.

Yes I have, just recently I’ve been blocked from accessing my opensprinkler UI. It’s good to see I’m not the only one.

Windows OS. Version varies from 7 to 10 depending on customer. I’m not sure if they had Avast Firewall. I know if they temporarily disable Avast they can access the page. In the address bar it looks like this: 192.168.1.116/Footprints.html
It blocks that, Web TuneUp seems to be a common factor. They can however access 192.168.1.116/stats.htm without disabling Avast.

Local webpages were blocked on my office computer after windows updates were installed. I had to disable Avast.

Disable port scanning in the avast firewall.
That should solve it.
It is a known bug.
