4 Days ago Avast warned me and blocked code from a website. In which log can i find this alert?

I searched C:\ProgramData\AVAST Software\Avast\log but cant find it.

And what logs are essential for showing Malware Alerts?

Try looking in the following file location:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\AVAST Software\Avast\report\WebShield.txt (XP location).
C:\ProgramData\AVAST Software\Avast\report\WebShield.txt (Vista, win7 or later location). Note this location may be hidden, in which case you would need to change the folder settings.

I can confirm it’s C:\ProgramData\AVAST Software\Avast\report\WebShield.txt on Windows10 too.

A direct link from the Avast interface wouldn’t hurt though

Or, you can have all the Avast report files as a menu popping up from your Taskbar (to add it: right click on Taskbar - Toolbars - New toolbar - Select folder - C:\ProgramData\AVAST Software\Avast\report).

I can spare the room for a shortcut but not the room on the taskbar.
You can hide the new toolbar till you actually need it.
Either one does the job equally well.

OK, thanks but theres nothing in the report, just 10 minutes ago i visited this website, avast blocked something (why i can´t see what? only a short popup??) but the log is empty only this:

German, says protection report, automaticly. nothing about blocked ressources or logged scans. the other two files too, nothing interesting in it.

So i cant see the blocked ressources? (and a description why its blocked, what it is , an exploit, malicious script…)

German, says protection report, automaticly. nothing about blocked ressources or logged scans. the other two files too, nothing interesting in it.

So i cant see the blocked ressources? (and a description why its blocked, what it is , an exploit, malicious script…)

Sounds like you’re looking for information on a file that’s in the virus chest ???

No theres nothing in the Chest, nothing blocked under statistics.

try it: http://forums.civfanatics.com/ i am sure its a false positiv, i tested the side with virustotal and other url scanner.

Avast gives a short note then nothing in the logs or elsewhere.

As to Virus Total, my understanding is it is based on blacklists, while Avast checks for suspicious patterns.
