web security_ infection identified

Dear all,

I m using avast for a while. Just got my first many infection warning in the web module.

It says (its in German: avast web schutz hat eine bedrohung erkannt).
= Avat web security did detect a danger+ and shows an URL like:
http://sep.breakingnews2.com/admail/vprnaug13/images/Unbelievable-Offer-PBC_04.jpg

And this came like 10 time with different jpg.

I m not 100% sure…But I think from the URL name its a mail in my spam folder. I didnt open the mail. I was just checking the content of the spam foder in order to delete it as the warning came.

Im nit sure what to do? Does the message mean, my system is infected? Or was it does a warning?

Stupid question I quess…but I just dont know :wink:

Avast is blocking it for a very good reason:

The message is very clear. avast blocked access to (potential) malware so that it would not infect your system.

it s funnyit came up as i opened chrome directly then.

i m using macos…i cant use any of those malware apps
do you know any for macos?
