Web shield is now renamed to something else, but why cant be turned off?
Now as it indicates, you must go to the new tab on the left, scam guardian, and there you have the option to deactivate it.
This make no sense, it is confusing.

I really wanted to understand the meaning of this too. 
Scam Guardian, though I guess it doesn’t stop Avast trying to promote its paid for options.
It looks like the other Avast One programs functions/shields that are called Guardian etc.
