Since two days ago I have a serious problem with the Avast Mobile Security for Android, v.3.0.7387, installed on my Amazon Kindle Fire, using Chrome as browser, v.18.0.1025469.
Since June the 20th at 12.42, with the virus definition update n. 150620-00, the urls that I visit are no more listed in the activities register and this makes me think that the real time web protection is no longer working. In fact, the number of urls scanned which appears in the web protection settings menù isn’t increasing too, even if since then I still visited some sites. The program has no other issues, the virus definitions are updated as usual and every other action is still scanned by Avast, just the urls I visit are not.
I did a full system scan with Avast and no problems were found. I also tried to unactivate the web protection and then reactivate it and nothing changed. This problem persists with every browser I use.
I’d like to know if all of this really means that my navigation is no longer protected or the urls’scans are just no longer listed in Avast activities register for some unknown reason and what could I do to solve this bad issue.

Hello, could you please update to the latest version of AMS (4.0.7875)? This is known issue, fixed in latest versions of AMS… https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.avast.android.mobilesecurity

Hi,I have problem with the Avast Mobile Security v4.0.7884.on Android 4.2.2.Web Shield doesn’t work only with firefox browser.
Web Shield work’s with chrome,android browser but I using only firefox. Is it possible to fix problem.

I have the same problem with the web shield and my kindlle fire hd, even with the current google play version which I sideloaded on to my kindle. I am using the amazon silk browser. Any suggestions?
