Hi, earlier today i have sent the issue to the avast virus labs and they have replied that in the next update(130813-1 which already is a current version) the detection will be removed. After the update i also saw that the site is still detected and have notified them again. ![]()
You need to clear the browser cache, otherwise it will keep on detecting it until it auto expires in cacheâŚ
Hi there, the site is a false positive and will be fixed in the next update.
Thatâs good to know. It is causing Havoc on my Network.
Stephen
I cleared the cache from the history page and from the cmd.exe
Thanks for your input, but unfortunately, clearing the Cache wonât help in this instance. Itâs the Web Shield that is causing this issue. Every time a user gets redirected to âblockDOTopendnsDOTcomâ, they will recieve a trojan alert.
We need an update from Avast ASAP to resolve this.
Kind Regards,
Stephen
Hi studio_two,
I have just received an email from the virus lab and they told me that âit should definitely be ok now.â :![]()
Hi studio_two, I have just received an email from the virus lab and they told me that "it should definitely be ok now." ::)
It wasnât with 130813-1 but appears to have been resolved on 130814-0.
Many Thanks,
We now have 130814-0 on our mirror server, so hopefully, the clients will all update shortly.
Stephen
Youâre welcome.
All now seems well. Thanks again.
Thanks for the feedback.
