Hello, I checked the service phone number but figured this would be easier and to the point regardless of how long to wait for a response. I’ve had difficulty accessing my Google Chrome browser for over a month, specifically Gmail and loading images, and tried everything listed within the browser & computer itself. However, I finally discovered something ‘magical’ after turning the core Avast shields off, then found it as the Web Shield despite not having any block options on. I would like to continue using all shields within Avast Internet Security…but is there any other way I can adjust the web shield to function better without stalling certain pages after a small time or maybe uninstall/reinstall the suite? Thanks for any assistance
No problems here using Gmail and Chrome.
Have you tried the following:

I think this will work, despite the Avast Internet Security backup installation being slow but it’s probably my connection. First I tried the clean uninstall
