I have a quick question relating to the use of the web shield as part of Avast Activescan. As you know, the web shield displays the url of the last scanned item, however is there a way to produce a log of this?
The problem is that my web shield is scanning a particular url that is very long. Due to it’s length, the url is cut short (and thus i cant see the full url)… I have tried changing my screen resolution so that i can see more of the url, but still having the same problems.
Can the last scanned item be outputted ANYWHERE? Or perhaps someone else has found a way to get round this problem.
Restart Web Shield in XP (terminate and start again) or whole PC in case of Win98
Browse (trying to access some webpages)
The log file are \data\log\ashwebsv.log and ashwebsv.ws.
They would be accessible when WebShield is terminated again. After that, disable the logging to avoid a big log file.
