does anyone know what browsers are supported by web shield without having to use the proxy-local host-12080-setting.
Is there a list of such out there anywhere anyone know of??? :-\ 8) 
No there is no list available to the user, it is what I have asked for some time ago in another thread, that it be available from within the GUI. The list is buried inside the VPS file and as such unavailable.

i didn’t think there was,at least the 2 that i use,maxthon and opera 9 work WITHOUT the proxy set-up.

Currently the only indication of those browsers not on the approved list is they don’t work with the proxy. As we both know that can also happen for other reasons, so it is a confusing situation for users who think that all browsers are protected by web shield.
