Hi all,
I just updated from Avast free 5 to 6. I said yes to install Webrep. But in the GUI, it is said Intenet Explorer : plug-in non installed and strangely enough the only option that is given is “uninstall”. So what must I do to make the plug-in work?
Thanks

That problem has been around since the beta. There never really was an answer.

I’d suggest doing a clean Avast install (not upgrade).

I’ll try that tough it’s just webrep which poses problem; everything else runs smoothly since the update.
Thanks

Suggesting this because some people here had issues w/ WebRep not installed or installed partially or not being able to uninstall it when they did an upgrade.

Avast webrep is in the addon’s of IE8 but the tooblbar doesn’t appear. Hope a fresh install will solve the issue.
