Right now I’m disappointed but maybe I don’t have something set right?
I uninstalled WOT which I really liked due to a problem & thought that Avast WebRep worked similar as far as showing an icon next to all search results to at least give me a vague idea as to whether I even want to click on it. Was I wrong in that assumption?

There is no need to remove WOT, I use them both and they are fine. I don’t have the webrep installed on this system as I’m using the public beta of avast 8.0.1484 and webrep alters the display in firefox.
But it is currently working on my win7 system, though on occasion I have had to refresh the search to get the webrep icons displayed in the search results. So it may be that the back-end servers are under heavy load.
