Webrep on Firefox on Win7

Hi,

I have 2 PCs - 1 running 32bit Win XP Pro and the other, 64bit Win 7 Home Premium. Both are using Avast 7.0.1474 and Firefox 19.0.2.

I just noticed that Webrep isn’t working in Firefox on the Win 7 machine even though in Additional Protection > Browser Protection, I have Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox browser plugins intalled and under Settings, Enable Webrep is ticked. Webrep is working in Internet Explorer on the Win 7 machine and both Internet Explorer and Firefox on the Win XP machine. I can’t spot any differences in settings between the Win 7 PC and Win XP PC.

Can anyone shed any light as to how I can get Webrep working on Firefox on my Win 7 machine?

maybe solve.uses firefox process is totally similar compared to the chrome. to watch this for a fix

Please don’t give advice unless you know what you’re talking about.
The video works for those that use Chrome.
It does nothing for people using a different browser.

With all due respect, bringing Chrome into the discussion is actually going off topic. OP does not have Chrome, does not need help with Chrome, and the above video does not apply to fixing this WebRep issue with Firefox.

If you want to help, stay within the parameters set by the OP, and do not go off on a tangent not related to the help asked for. :o

I’ve discovered the cause of my problem.

For some reason, the Avast WebRep Extension was disabled in Firefox. Not sure how or why, but enabling it fixed the issue.
