WebRep has been working perfectly over the last few day
However if you open Avast and go to Additional Protection it says Firefox not installed.
Oh the joys of a Beta

If it is okay to ask an other, WebRep related issue, I have switched to Firefox, but WepRep seems to be uncompatible with FF version 5. Any info on when it is going to be updated?

I meant Firefox is version 5, and says that WepRep is not compatible with FF5; not avast, that is version 6.

As said, WR works in FF 5, if you use avast! 6.0.1184…!!

Does anyone know about future features/development of WebRep?
As it is now it’s still very raw.

Sorry, I did misunderstand. So, it works with 1184 Beta, and not with stable current 1125. I thought it was a standalone Firefox extension not an avast! version-dependent thing. Am I right now?

Actually Asyn WebRep(1184) works better with FF 4.0.1 with FF5 it is a bit temperamental.

has avast made any plans of supporting web rep on firefox 5.0,in a non beta version

When the current avast beta is released as a regular avast program update it will have the webrep version that works with firefox 5.0 in it.

Since this doesn’t appear to be related the the Topic title ‘WebRep,’ you should start your own new topic here, http://forum.avast.com/index.php?board=2.0 and click the New Topic button and we will try to help there.

In that new topic, give the version number of avast that you have (latest is 6.0.1203), what it is that you can’t update and any error that might be displayed. You should also report your Operating System version and Firewall.
