Webshield problem is blocking both Avast Updates and Windows Updates.

Can somebody please tell me how to get this fixed and if there is a Workaround? I tried turning off Web Shield, still not working. >:(

I forgot to mention that I just updated to Build 2014.9.0.2011 yesterday, so as far as I know, I already have the Emergency Patch.

OS = Windows 8.1 x64

INI File = *.265

Not sure how to check the System 32 File since I am running x64 Windows 8.1.

System 32 File is still .263!

put the latest file to system32/drivers as well.
reboot.
see result.

i m on 32 bit.

Can you try repair from control panel? The correct version should be installed during repair. Lukas
