Hello,
Another newbie question here.
I am using a router so I have a hardware firewall, right?
Do I or should I use webshield or any other of the ‘shields’?
Right now, all I’m using is the resident scanner and no problems.
I also have AVG antispyware (free) and Panda anti rootkit (free).
Thanks.

If you are behind a router, you do really not need activate Network Shield
But you’d better enable Web Shield

The minimum I would say is Standard Shield, Web Shield and Internet Mail. The network Shield only monitors those ports commonly used by exploits/worms, etc. and doesn’t really use any resources and it is looking at content, not just inbound activity, but with a router and a firewall you should be OK.
Then it is down to what applications you use as to what shields should be enabled (P2P, Instant Messaging, Outlook/Exchange {MS Outlook not express}).

OK, thanks guys.
With the web shield, can I just install it and let it go or do I have to configure it? I use Firefox and have seen instructions for use with Firefox?
If you use Windows XP/Vista, just use it, the scanning is transparent.
