Website asking me to download an ~ 50 KB gzip for last 2 days.

A website I like to visit, wellaware1.com, has been acting strangely for me the last two days: I would try to get to the site and I get this weird prompt:

 You have chosen to open: <blank>

    which is: application/x-gzip (file size varies between 50 and 60 KB)
    from: http://wellaware1.com

I cancel on the prompt every time. I tweeted the host of the site and he thinks it’s my computer and recommends I change my antivirus software. I ran a quick scan which showed nothing. I’m asking because I don’t want to spend $40-$80 on software right now. I am hoping that it is just a glitch. Can you guys check that?

Thank you.

Edit: I am not having this popup from any other site I visit.

Cant access site, but i get the same download.

See here http://urlquery.net/report.php?id=1447220258623 click picture in top right corner

So seems something is wrong with the site / maybe infected

There is work in progress on that website.

From the “default” file inside the packed file:

I am almost complete with a site upgrade that will change the design and make the content and navigation more user-friendly and fluid. It should roll out in the next day or to

@Eddy:

About the site update, it was mainly about content and member-related updates that I’m not privy to since I’m not a member, so I knew that wasn’t it.

@Pondus:

Yeah! That was what I was dealing with, too! I just checked the site a few minutes ago and I was able to visit normally. I think the guy who runs the site found the problem, phew!

To all: Thanks! The site is working normally again! The guy who runs the site was able to circumvent that problem!

Edit: I just tweeted the site owner and he said it was his cache! >:(
