We have a website that is blocked by AVAST. If people visit mclasshome.com they get a connection refused. If I shut off Web Shield on a single PC, they can get through fine. I went to the admin portal and allowed http://.mclasshome.com/ and https://.mclasshome.com/ on the Exclustions. After a reboot and verifying the setting changes, I tested again and it failed. Again I can turn off Web Shield and it works fine.
I also added the same urls for the Script Exclusions (since we don’t know the script), rebooted and tried again, it failed. Again works with Web Shield shut off.
Is there a to Exclude everything from this site since we do not know how it works.
I looked at the log files I believe it would be in and do not see anything. There are about 3 dozen different files. Maybe I am in the wrong location, do you know where these would be stored?
This is doing it on every pc that has avast. It is a website used all the time and they are starting to use it again now that school is back in session. Has not worked since they been back.
As I don’t see anything strange/suspicious about that website and there is no message when avast blocks it, I suggest to contact avast and have them take a look at the problem. https://support.business.avast.com/hc/en-us
