There is an on-line contact form, http://www.avast.com/contact-form.php?loadStyles for: * Sales inquiries; Technical issues; Website issues; Report false virus alert in file; Report false virus alert on website; Undetected Malware; Press (Media), issues.
If you are reporting an FP, then you get another input field open, enter the web URL for the site you wish to submit for review (Network Shield), etc. A link to this topic also wouldn’t hurt.
The initial avast FP IP block was meant for another domain with that same IP address that had malware that was closed 2012-09-08 09:56:39 after being active for 33.6 hours at htxp://cdn102.com/ See web repl: http://www.mywot.com/en/scorecard/cdn102.com?utm_source=addon&utm_content=popup-donuts (because of SpyEye botnet connections) malicious P2P sharers and bad peers from there…
Yes, I am aware of it, polonus. That IP was listed at a lot of places some time ago, but my provider has already dealt with the problem and only Avast is blocking it now.
At least my clients are complaining only from Avast.
Sorry for bumping this thread again, but when can we expect some response from someone who can give us ETA on our issue? I already have contacted Avast team yesterday via the contact form.
They are generally quick to correct any FP after analysis. That said generally they don’t contact you unless, A) they require further information and B) you did as suggested given a link to this topic and obviously your email in the contact form.
EDIT: This has already been resolved as I have just visited the site and no avast alert.
