Website of the forum very slow and often offline

I do not know if it depended on the routing of connections from Europe to the server the forum is not great but I think that some day this forum is slow in opening Avast and when it must respond to a comment about the wait to see the message box is very long and in many cases it appears the screen can not display the webpage!

Obviously not a problem because of the connection sites such as CNN, BBC etc. I open them without any problems, use OpenDNS as a DNS server but I tried Level3 and history does not change, only the link of the forum I will have this problem …

Do you have any advice on this?

A new server should (hopefully) fix this in January…!

I had the same issue yesterday but it’s apparently being addressed. Have a Happy New Year!

Whilst it is meant to be being addressed, it doesn’t make it any the less a pain in the rear until it is resolved.

Oh dear! It was the Avast servers? I blamed it on the switch from my old Sygate firewall to Comodo. I’m glad to hear I don’t have to abandon the new firewall just yet.
