Just got redirected again, first time since I followed the last step.
I haven’t downloaded anything since before I started getting redirected.
New version to download
Download aswMBR.exe ( 1.8mb ) to your desktop.
Double click the aswMBR.exe to run it
Click the “Scan” button to start scan

Could you then run a fresh OTS scan
\Desktop\aswMBR.exe is not a valid Win32 application.
It gives me that error when I run it in both admin mode, and compatibility mode
Edit: Redownloading does not solve the problem.

Download MBRCheck.exe to your Desktop. Run the application.
If no infection is found, it will produce a report on the desktop. Post that report in your next reply.
If an infection is found, you will be presented with the following dialog:

OK lets re-run Combofix and then look at the drivers
You must use a fresh copy so delete the old one
Download ComboFix from one of these locations:
* IMPORTANT !!! Save ComboFix.exe to your Desktop
[]Disable your AntiVirus and AntiSpyware applications, usually via a right click on the System Tray icon. They may otherwise interfere with our tools
[]Double click on ComboFix.exe & follow the prompts.
When finished, it shall produce a log for you. Please include the C:\ComboFix.txt in your next reply.

Close any open browsers.

They’ve stopped for now. What exactly is causing the redirects?
Backdoor.Rewdulon.B is one of the names for it, it is basically a trojan downloader
Could you go to C:\qoobox
and upload to Avast via the virus chest any files that have this format windows\SysWOW64\api-ms-win-core-io-l1-1-032.dll
Start Avast and select Maintenance > Virus chest
Click in the white space and select add
Navigate to qoobox and add the files one at a time
Once they are in the chest then right click the files and select send to virus lab
Once you are happy that all is good let me know and I will remove my tools

A good workman always cleans up after himself so…The following will implement some cleanup procedures as well as reset System Restore points:
Start OTS. Copy/Paste the information in the quotebox below into the panel where it says “Paste fix here” and then click the Run Fix button.

Uninstall ComboFix
Remove Combofix now that we’re done with it.
[*]Please press the Windows Key and R on your keyboard. This will bring up the Run… command.[*]Now copy/paste this: ComboFix /Uninstall in the runbox and click OK. Note the space between the X and the /Uninstall, it needs to be there.

Run OTS and hit the cleanup button. It will remove all the programmes we have used plus itself.
We will now confirm that your hidden files are set to that, as some of the tools I use will change that

[*]Under the Hidden files and folders heading select Do not show hidden files and folders.
