It’s none of the processes that make me curious…it’s just that I can’t see the top of my Manager! (that means I can’t see for example, what applications are running etc. nor I can close it via the X icon, nothing. As if the top bit was eaten.)
I can only see the processes on it.
Also, sometimes if I hold it for more than a second, suddenly there’s MILLIONS of task managers coming up!
Suspicous. As if somebody tried to prevent me from knowing certain stuf…
What do you recommend? (i’m sorry if i sound stupid or if this is a weird problem…but this thing is bothering me for ages and i don’t know whether it’s normal or not.)
Double-click at the top of the task manager window, that should show everything again. You can toggle the menu’s and tabs in task manager on and off by double-clicking in the area next to the tabs
SnagIt makes it very easy, that took about 10-15 seconds as some of the remaining bits I had to blur, the other effects are very simple, but it is a paid application though.
What happens if you right click on the taskbar entry for task manager, and select Maximize or Size, that may allow you to resize the window so that you can see it all. You should also be able to hover the mouse pointer over the edge of the window and drag it to increase the size.
Edit, your not only missing the Top portion, you are also missing the Bottom status bar.
Nope, still doesn’t work - when I try to right click on the taskbar entry, nothing happens.
And the entry on the taskbar for the Task Manager is blank…oddly enough,
It’s not that it’s really urgent, it’s just an annoying bug that bothers me >:(

To restore the full view double left click where I indicated in the following picture:
Well the toggle feature that Bob shows works on my XP Pro system also, so I don’t know why it might not on bostonlover’s system, unless the double clicking is being done in the wrong place.
