This is the first time in four years that I’ve ever received a reply after submitting samples to the viruslab. A one-off occurrence, or one of the changes to come that we’ll soon all be seeing?

it would really be interesting if this is an exception or if it has changed…
It appears that posting out the name of the researcher who sent the email to me was not a wise move and a possible invasion of his/her privacy.
My thanks to the moderator who edited my initial post on my behalf.
I’ve had an email of thanks from them after a submission in the past, too.
