I started a job with a company and I am required to download their guidelines. But when I try, Avast blocks this action. It says “We’ve safely aborted connection because it was infected with PDF:UrlMal-inf [Trj]” More threats may be lurking.
What is this infection and could something have gotten on my computer even if it aborted? I’m running a full scan as I type this. I also scanned with Malwarebytes and it didn’t find anything.
