I read on another forum, someone saying, that if you go to windows update page, and check to for updates, you are now told you MUST install WGA first.I tried, and this is true. Why would it say this, when it is already installed on my computer ( although I don’t have the WGA notifications ) Also, will you have to install WGA when downloading the monthly critical updates ?
Microsoft released more than once WGA versions. If I remember correctly, three times.
To check updates and to download protected updates you must have installed the last WGA version.
So, if you have already ‘installed’ one, maybe Windows is trying to get the ‘last’ version.
