I just purchased my 2-year license key, and I was wondering what settings I should be using for maximum protection?

I’ve found out how to schedule scans, and set the On-Access Scanner to ‘High’, but what else is there for even more protection?

Also, what programs do you use with Avast Pro?

And is Avast 5 Beta free?

The better balance between protection and performance is “Normal”. Ok, if you set “High” you’ll be overprotected.
As side as avast, you can have MBAM for on-demand scannings. And a firewall won’t be bad. Avast 5 will offer a suite (antivirus + firewall).
