Today i found a different avast tray icon. (Take a look at the picture) What is that for?
it the update icon only !! ;D

I never see this icon before until today. I though avast have a new icon hehe.
you can remove by right clicking the “a” icon on ur notification area and click program settings
click on the “update(basic)” ang click details .
unchecked the “show icon in taskbar tray”
and thats it!
Sounds like you have been tweaking avast as I believe it is off by default.
Even if left checked, you should only see that update icon when avast is actually updating itself in some way.
Yes, this feature is disabled by default.
