After using Avast for several months, here is my review: All you do is ask for more money. EVERY time I get a notification about something, you pretend you are going to fix it–I then scroll through several steps–but alas: Nothing is remedied unless I pay for it. You try to suck me in by saying, what a great deal, for only $2.99 more a month, we can do this, we can do that. I even lost track about what I’m paying for. When I cancel out of your money grab, you then flash a message like my computer is the most hack-vulnerable, that I am begging for ransomware or some other end of the world type of prediction. Because it happens almost EVERY TIME you flash some warning, that’s why I sat & figured out how to write this. (I was going to send an email to your tech support, but, of course, you wanted me to pay for that too!) You sucked me into paying for the Cleanup Premium but it’s no different than any of the other cleanup programs I already had. Just now you gave me a warning about a spam software program I just installed–I know it’s fine but you gave me 10 dire warnings about why I should get rid of it…but in the end, only if I paid an extra $2.99/month. This constant money grab has cost you a customer. I just tried to see how much I paid you so far, but, unbelievably, this information is not available…but you are working on it! UNBELIEVABLE! I’m sure I paid close to $40 for the year. What a waste of money!
Wait a minute!~ I just checked. You charged me $77.99 for Avast Premium and another $23.88 for that cleanup premium!??? Is this a joke???! I did not approve those charges! I thought I paid around $40…and you keep asking for more money? Seriously, is this a joke??? This is STEALING!!! I demand a refund! WTFFFFFFFF??? NEVER would I pay over $100 for this! NEVER!!! And you keep asking for more money? Am I dealing with the Mob??? Wow! Something must be done to stop this kind of predatory tactic! Wow! I said NEVER!!!
