What do i do about this?

ok so i get this after i try to run avast. ( the computer i was using had a ton of viruses and i removed them all and have rplaed some DLL. and registry files, but not all.)

You need 2008 SP1 - this is the one:

You’re welcome, fast responses are common in the avast forums ;D

Hopefully the removal of the malware blocking installation (in your other topic), will allow for the installation of this.

If you have any earlier version of C++ 2008 Redistributable installed (not SP1) try uninstalling it form add remove programs, etc.

I don’t know if it is possible to install this C++ 2008 SP1 Redistributable from safe mode.
