I had one virus that avast moved to the virus chest. Is it now safe? do I move it again? how do I get rid of it? ??? ???
Once moved to Chest, your computer is safe.
You can let it there for further analysis and scanning.
Are you receiving the virus message repeatedly?

Anything in the virus chest is safe and there is no need to remove it from the chest anytime soon nor is there any need to remove it at all.
After a length of time (we usually recommend at least 2 weeks) and your computer is running as it should be, it can be deleted from the chest at which time it will be gone from your computer.
But before you do that, please follow the advice and answer any questions found in above posts.
It would also be helpful if you told us the name of the virus as well as where it was found.
