What do I do with NetskyP & NetskyC?

When I get the alarms about a virus being detected
on my computer that is sent thru OE, I’m not sure
what I am supposed to do! I moved the file to the
virus chest and then I deleted the e-mail without
opening it. Now it is sitting in the chest. Is it safe
to just delete it or what? There is NetskyP and also
NetskyC. This is all new to me. Does this mean my
computer is infected with viruses. I don’t seem to
have any problems with running applications. Please
help!

you are safe…so not to worry…just keep them in the chest…

files in the chest are totally cut off from the whole system…that’s why virus are keep in there…as well as backup important system files…

Thanks for the reply. Now, do I leave them in the chest
or is it safe to delete them? I don’t want to be paranoid,
but I hate seeing them there.

you are free to delete them…then do a through scan since you are paranoid…

I have also an problem with Netsky-P…

When i scan my comp it finds Netsky-p in an .zip file which i cant move or delete… windows gives the message that the file is protected for writing… its full… its busy… etc… So now i can do nothing with it… cant move it to my chesst also… whut can i do bout this? cus i keep getting those crappy mails…

You can use avast! Virus Cleaner to get rid of NetSky. Of course, It won’t prevent you from getting it again by e-mail…
