I hear it’s good, but hard to configure.
Good, but, in my personal opinion it’s interface is not very friendly. For novice computer user it can be not easy to use.
Why talk of another AV’s?? well, a lot of people like NOD because is very easy to have a warez copy.
I prefer Avast, i have my legal copy for free, and in my language, an with a skin for every day. I’m thinking to purchase Pro version.
Lets not.
I don’t feel that the official avast forum should be a debating point of a competitive AV product. I doubt that you would get much of a reception if you tried to discuss avast on the official nod32 support forums.
I second this. Not only ‘hard’, but with less features.
Detection rate is good, but from time to time, not in the same level as Kaspersky.

I think avast has a lot of things to learn with NOD32…
Starting with detection, heuristic, etc.
P.S. avast has a lot of things to teach to NOD32 too 8)
You can talk about improve Avast with developers team, you can give suggestions but i think talk about another AV isn’t… positive?

I’m european, but i prefer a Vette 
Only thing that i like with NOD32 are it’s heuristics and it’s scan engine. Everything else is far better in avast! (or even some other antiviruses).
