After scanning my computer, I have over 1000 viruses and a lot of them have affected the system software. Will moving these viruses (deleted or moved to chess) affect the system in any way?

It’s actually not mine, so unfortunately I don’t have that computer with me, so I can’t check. When I get back to my site, I’ll do another scan and try to print out the list. Like a said, theres a ton of viruses, not just one

The thing is that this sounds very much like a file infector - Virut,Ramnit,Sality - and my advice if it is, is to flatten the system totally
That’s what I figured. I have come across this same problem on a different computer and I ended up just reinstalling. Was just trying to see if there was another option. Thanks!
