What does this mean

It came up this in an Avast scan:

File Name Status
Disk \?\Volume{a1bde545-5728-11e0-9a94-806e6f6e6963?}{+}{+} Boot Record Error: The parameter is incorrect (87)

What the heck does this mean??? Is it something to panic about??
Yes, it is set to scan memory objects, I know it can have ‘Strange results’ but why have it as an option if so?

Windows 7 64-bit, Avast Free 7

Thanks

Hello, is this forum really busy or am I not wanted here?

it is just a scan error, nothing to worry about…
if you reboot and scan again…still there?

Sorry for being impatient…
But next time I retart, I’ll let you know if it still comes up.

Thankyou for replying.

Uh yes after a restart, this still came up… So is it bad or means theres something wrong? It just all of a sudden came up.

Not sure if I can posts links here or not. But do a Google search for “Error: The parameter is incorrect (87)” without the quotation marks. There is quite a bit of information pertaining to your error message. Good luck.
