What happens after subscription expires?

Hi,

I have an ending Avast Internet Security. What happens if I don’t buy a new licence? (auto renewal is disabled)
Will the product still work, only as the free antivirus?

Hi,

Once your license expires, you will receive notifications that it expired and at some point, it will switch to the Free version automatically.
It might be better to manually install the free version than to wait for it to switch.

I believe that if you uninstall the product, it will offer to change over to the free version.

I just uninstalled your product and it did not offer to stay as a free version.

Free version would be ok, as the Premium Security hardly has any benefit at all. But I remember that the free version had annoying advertisement popups. And I don’t want to pay that money just for removing ads.

That might be because your license has not expired yet.

Then something has changed.
The free offer was always there if you tried to remove a paid version. With or without an active license.
