what is "avast remediation exe"?

Hi folks.

My Avast Internet Security was updated (new version 19.7.2388). And, after this, i can see a new process in my task manager. All the time.

So… by the title - what is it? Is it normal? Or it is some error? And (if error) how i can handle it?

What OS are you running?
I don’t have that running anywhere on my Win 10 systems.

There is plenty of info when googled.

Windows 10 home edition (last update).

Yep…
but they are old (mostly 2 years old)…
there is no direct answer…
And they all about old version of antivirus. But with old version i’m never saw this process, it appears only after update. And i do not know why.

But…

1. Those site it’s not Avast company.
2. Those texts, same - old (Even, if those info - it’s true. And this service was in Avast before. Why it’s appears only now? ).
3. There’s nothing about AvastWscReporter (sub service for “avast remediation exe”).
