Hi all, I’m new to the forum. I’ve been using Avast home for a long time, but haven’t had a virus, until now… recently Avast keeps detecting viruses such as:
1/2/2006 2:32:21 PM 1136230341 Admin 756 Sign of “Win32:CTX” has been found in “C:\RECYCLER\S-1-5-18\Dc4.dll” file.

1/4/2006 7:54:15 AM 1136379255 Admin 2432 Sign of “Win32:CTX” has been found in “C:\RECYCLER\S-1-5-21-861567501-2025429265-839522115-1005\Dc4.dll” file.
I haven’t had any luck finding out what DC4.dll, DC5.dll (i’ve also seen DC2.dll) are. I’ve also run Trend Micro’s online scanner and it doesn’t find anything.
One thing to note is that I also tried running Panda’s online virus scanner a couple of days ago. Avast complained about one of it’s Activex files being a virus, so I removed that program. But strangely enough, I’m pretty sure I’ve only seen these virus warnings after running an online virus scanner.
Anyone have any idea what these files are? any reason to worry?
Thanks ;D
