Hello all,
I’ve used Avast for years, but I’m new to this forum, so I greatly appreciate your advice/suggestions.
Whenever I go to a certain site, I get an Avast warning as follows:
Infection Details
URL: http://dsparking. com/?epl
Process: C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe
Infection: HTML:RedirME-inf [Trj]
This happens whether I use IE or Firefox.
The strange thing is that no one else is having problems with this particular site - even others using Avast!
So now I’m wondering whether it’s actually my own computer (maybe I have some kind of virus) or if my Avast updates are so current that it’s detecting things that others can’t see yet.
BTW, the site is one that I am required to visit from time to time, so avoiding it is not an option.
I was doing some research yesterday, and now when I do a Google search on this, I’m suddenly seeing all kinds of supposed anti-virus blogs promoting the removal of this trojan/virus or whatever.
Hopefully, it’s not just me, but if anyone can shed some further light, I would greatly appreciate it!
Thanks!
Marjatta
