I have been using Avast Free so I start feeling guilty and buy the product. Now I am getting nothing but pop ups, pop ups and more pop ups. What the heck is going on. Do I need to get my money back and return to the Avast Free or find a different product?
HI I was just wondering what kind of pop ups are you getting please explain what pop ups you are talking about if you are getting virus detected pop ups that can be a different problem if you are just getting pop ups for advertising and definition updates nothing to worry about. Please explain though what kind of popups are you getting.

There is a way to turn some type of popups off, someone more knowledgeable than I will chime in I’m sure.
It would be prudent to determine what pop ups are occurring. As already mentioned. 
If its the vps ads instead of showing its updated then there is a way to disable those.
Go to settings> Updates> Details> Update Options> Untick “Show notification box after automatic update”
