Hi,What is nitro update? why the name? Should one uninstall the previous version to install this version?How to check the Nitro update? Is the Gui the same for this version. Would you please give the version name to check. I have downloaded and using and do not find any change or any word nitro written .
Moreover avast.com included cnetsite for download. I do not know, whether they stopped injection of PUP in their site on the downloadable programs. I just clicked my email to go avast site instead. Hope to receive the clarifications

You can install over the top or clean install, your choice.
If you don’t want to download from cnet then download from the latest release sticky here on the forum which is easy to find “if you care to read” 
You can update through the previous UI. Cnet or Download.com no longer uses a download manager that gives you crap ware.
The UI is pretty much the same as the previous version.

Of late, I think that avast introduces, but not conveying the exact change of log.
