I have installed AVAST SECURE BROWSER and I get STARTPAGE? I have not downloaded it or agreed to have it on my laptop. Is this safe and if not how do I remove the software please
I would say that is a good start point as your searches aren’t tracked.

Given it is a search engine - you should be able to change it for a search engine settings in the Avast Secure Browser.
