What is the FINAL SOLUTION to the RPC problem?

Hi all :->

I’ve read a lot about the RPC problem, and also I see a lot of talking! and I didn’t find the solution!!

If any one know it please tell me about it!

and sorry for my bad ENGLISH :-]

The number one rule is to make sure that the ‘avast Antivirus’ service is in the running state (Control Panel → Administrative Tools → Services).

No dude! it’s not running!!

i have two services that named ‘avast’ but all of them are stopped!

when i tried to running them it’s appears two messages: “Access Denied” (I’ve logged with Adminstrator) and the second is “Failed to run” or something like that because my windows language is Arabic and this was my translate :->

i see this is strange!! a lot of people have this problem and there are not a final solution to this problem from the company!!

Haven’t you played with the access rights of your ‘Program Files’ folder (or the whole system volume)?

Namelly, haven’t you removed the SYSTEM entry from the ACL’s (Access Control Lists)?

Like the one on the screenshot below…

Thanks
Vlk

No dude! often i don’t know where i can find this screen!

i think i saw this before but i don’t know where!

before i format my computer it’s was work correctly!

waiting You …

Could you please contact ‘Minacross’ by IM or email. See here.
He is from Egypt and, maybe, could help you in the configuration of your arabic Windows.

If it helps, you could take a look at You probably have at these forums on which were discussed RPC errors and solutions:

http://www.avast.com/forum/index.php?board=2;action=display;threadid=1864;start=msg12339#msg12339
(or http://www.avast.com/forum/index.php?board=2;action=display;threadid=1730;start=msg11102#msg11102 or http://www.avast.com/forum/index.php?board=2;action=display;threadid=1317;start=msg10900#msg10900).

Anyway, RPC (Remote Procedure Call) is a Windows Service and must be running because avast! depends on it. The majority of the times, the trouble is on the user system configuration and state and not on avast! installation.

Hmmmmm! I wonder where?
