What is this??

Sorry if this is off topic but this is like the only place I know that I can get help in :-\

This is the things:

Sorrow Logon.logonxp

and

Chronos.logonxp

Thanks,

Henry

Can’t find anything on google what folders are these programmes in and what is the problem

Are you using any kind of skinning programs???

 For future subjects of this type, I would suggest the forums
at www.annoyances.org .

And exactly what did you discover on that forum that makes it such a great place to get answers?
I tried a search but came up with nothing… ??? ???

I know exactly what those two are… you have StyleXP or Logon Studio (both by StarDock), Windows skinning applications, installed on your system, and inside the Windows / Resources / (and maybe some other subfolder too) you have those files among the other files. Those two you mentioned are the part of standard StyleXP package and you use them to change your Windows XP logon screen. Also see here:

http://www.stardock.com/products/logonstudio

My advice: do not play with those things, you will just get yourself unbelievable headache, and most important totally unnecessary. Even if you start to like those different screens while loging into Windows, after few days you will want your old, original Windows XP logon screen. Sometimes, procedure can be quite difficult to get rid of those “new” logon screens properly, and to get back your original Windows logon screen.

Even StyleXP developers mentioned somewhere inside the program help file, that this is not recommended.

Cheers !

yup i use style xp and have the exact same things
they’re log on screens
