What is triggering Avast Protection popup?

Every time I open a program… IE, Foxfire, Word, anything. It triggers the little popup warning that
warns me. It just doesn’t up once, it continues to come up and down with the same message.

The only way I get rid of it is to control, Alt, Delete and cancel “SunThreatEngine.exe” multiple times.

I have seen two different messages… Here they are.

Message #1

Active Protection has allowed the the startup program unregmp2.exe to be installed in your startup registry.

Message #2

Active Protection has allowed the the startup program cmd.exe to be installed in your startup registry.

Any idea’s?

Welcome to the forums, questworx.

What other security programs do you have on your computer?

Edit for spelling

Sounds awfully like Counterspy, not Avast that is doing this.
Sunbelt Software make it. It’s supposed to be pretty good.

It does not seem to be an avast message…
Please, post a screenshot (see how: http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=8982.0).
You can use Gadwin PrintScreen to get a screenshot (http://www.gadwin.com/printscreen/) or the free version of WinSnap 1.1.10 (http://www.filehippo.com/download_winsnap/?2173).

Yes, that is why I asked about other security programs. Maybe we will get an answer.
