I’m studying a number of password managers and their storage.
I’ve searched everywhere but can’t find what key derivation function Avast passwords uses and how many iterations the function is called.
Can someone help me in this?
Reading this, it looks like the key is generated once and stored locally rather than deriving it from the master password. Would that be correct assumption?
