What now if your computer is clean again!

Hi posters in the virus and worms section, after the malware has been cleansed from your system, and now that you seem to be clean, please follow these simple steps in order to keep your computer clean and secure:

* Clear your system restore

  possible malware that was left behind during the  cleaning process.

* Use Ad-Aware to be downloaded from here

  Download and install Ad-Aware. Update it and scan your computer regularly with it.

  Download and install AVG Anti-Spyware. Update it and scan your computer regularly with it.

  Download and install Spybot S&D. Update it and scan your computer regularly with it.
* Install SpywareBlaster from here: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial49.html
  SpywareBlaster will prevent spyware from being installed.
* Install MVPS Hosts file from here: http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/hosts.htm
  This prevents your computer from connecting to harmful sites.
* Use Firefox browser from here: http://www.mozilla.org/
  Firefox is faster and more secure browser than Internet Explorer.
  Use security add-ons with it: NoScript, search with www.scandoo.com
* Keep your systen up-to-date see: 
  Visit Windows Update regularly. How to enable Automatic Updates?
* Keep your [b]antivirus and firewall up-to-date[/b]
  Scan your computer regularly with you antivirus software.
