I found some info on the virus I have…and I was woundering what program I need to have installed before I can run this…(url to virus info is below)…thanks.

WHAT do you want to run ?
The adware, or TrendOnlinescan ?

you need the uptodate version of IE / InternetExplorer with activeX enabled for Trend’s site

or use mozilla/firefox with the Trend-BETA java-scan

Not sure exactly…I just want to get the virus out of my computer. I have Internet Explorer 2.

I think I need to download the latest search engine or something, and not an update, but I’m not sure.

Just click on the link in my signature and follow the instructions there to clean your system.

Are you sure you have IE2??? That one is REAL old.
To see what version you have:

  1. Start IE
  2. click on help
  3. click on about

I have version 5.0…and I will now try the link in your sig. Hope this works…
