Hi Tech,

Glad I have chosen for avast to be combined with ZA firewall, both are equally lean on the “old cycles”.

Certainly an interesting article, a shame it is a a little over two and a half years old.

It would be nice it it were updated.

Unfortunately it really is quiet old, but anyhow very interesting :slight_smile:

I could imagine that most of the Security Programs have improved their boot-sources-consumption since there and probably are faster now…

Hmmm… what does it mean Cannot detect private trojan there? Scanning takes resources and I won’t expect that using the last resources usage to be the best. I think PcTools antivirus is far from a safe choice.

Under my avatar is “avast! & ZA makes my computer feel like dancing”. It’s not there in vain. :wink: Also, they both do an excellent job protecting my computer. 8)
